How To Play - To play, click on one of the Player Lounges and choose a table.
- Enter your player handle/screen name, and press Login to connect to the choosen table.
- Select an open seat at the desired table and press Start.
- The first player seated at a table becomes the Owner and is able to set the options for that table.
- When other at least one other player has joined the table you are ready to play.
- The table owner must press Start Game if there are fewer than 4 players.
- When your screen name is pulsing, that means it's your turn.
- Move the tiles from your rack to the game board by either dragging the tile to the space upon which you want to play, or clicking on the tile then clicking square where it is to be placed.
- Tiles are moveable until the Submit button has been clicked.
- Click the Submit button to end your turn and submit your word for points.
- Each word played is evaluated against the specified table options and the Wordox dictionary. If the submitted word fails, the tiles are returned to the submitting player's rack and that player's turn ends.
- When a player's turn has ended the tile rack is refilled and the next player is allowed to begin.
- All players use the same letter rack; refreshed after each player's turn.
Gameplay and Rules
To start a game, Sit at table and click Start to be seated.
If you are the first player to sit at a table, you will be able to modify the table settings by clicking on the Options button.
The first player to take a turn must drag tiles from the tile tray to the board, creating a word that touches the middle of the board (the spot marked with a green circle).
The tiles placed on the board must be connected together in a single row or column.
One point is scored for each tile that you own.
If you make words using another player's tiles, you take ownership of their tiles, thus taking points away from their score and adding them to your own.
Players must use at least 2 tiles to form a word.
Players submit only one word per turn, although your word may create more than one word on the board.
The letters placed on the board must create a legal word, as defined by the Wordox dictionary (ENABLE)
